  1. Reflection Grecia Hernández

  2. Why I chose German as language course • I chose this language because I thought it was a good idea for studying after finishing the course of French. • I have always thought that the German culture is interesting and the way of speaking too, because most of the people think its very aggressive and the meanings are completely different whenever we start to comprehend. • In the two semesters of German, I have learned how to write, and how I should develop the pronunciation. Also I have learned vocabulary. I have learned how to conjugate verbs and the use of prepositions on the way of speaking.

  3. German has different ways of speaking it. A single person that doesn’t know the language can’t imagine the different forms. On English we know there is the passive or active mode. On German we really need to think how we want to express because we can say it on nominative, accusative, and imperative. • The forms of redacting an idea depends on the way you want to say it an here comes the conflicting part of the prepositions. • We need to understand a mode of thinking, we need to use logic as well. That’s what German is about.

  4. For me this learning experience has changed my way of thinking, because I have to activate my brain for a different way of understanding this new language. • I can apply this leanings on short redactions and multicultural experiences. For example, I need to select a part of a final project of art and present it on German.

  5. My weaker areas learning German is the writing and trying to understand when I am hearing a conversation because it is too fast yet. • I am Visual learner so I understand better when I see what is happening or understanding the significance of things, also when I am conjugating verbs. • I am on the last semester of high school and is my last course of German but I will take it again when I’ll reach university (after graduation).

  6. I learned all what I know by all the practice I got over the semesters and by my teaches that where interested of giving us the bases of German well. • It has change my way of seeing Germans because know I can say that most of the people judge the language before knowing that why they say it like jailing. I found a big interest on this language. I like it a lot. I might not be the best one speaking or writing it but I always do my biggest effort to understand.
