  2. HABITAT: • Where the bumblebee bat lives is in south eastern Burma, Thailand. They don’t live just anywhere in Thailand but in limestone caves becauseof the temperature.

  3. DIET: • My bat the bumblebee bat gobbles downspiders,beetles,smallflies,wasps,barklice,fruit and plants.

  4. PHISICAL DISCRIPTION: • An adult of my bat weighs 2g and is 29-33mm in length. The bumblebee bat is a reddish- brown or grey and has a distinguishing pig-like snout. It lives a year or less.

  5. INTERESTING FACTS: • My bat is the same weight of a penny and is the smallest bat ever! It hovers like a helicopter and has no tail or ankle bone which makes it unique. It flies and uses echolocation to find its prey.

  6. ENEMIES: • The bumblebee bat’s enemies are humans and forest fires.

  7. BABIES: • The bumblebee bat mom usually has one baby per year. • The babies are usually born in April.
