Indiegogo.com is an open reward based crowd funding platform, originally set up to raise funds for independent film and music projects. They have been involved in raising money for charitable causes as well, but this is not their core business. Fundly.com and Razoo.com are involved in donation based crowdfunding platforms focused on charitable causes, but they do not provide for the offering of donor rewards or increase their marketing reach and viability through the use of celebrities. Our Competitors - Continued eBay, Auction Cause and Charity Buzz are all examples of companies using the auction of celebrity experiences and merchandise for charitable causes. These companies have generated hundreds of millions of dollars but are limited in market reach as they are auction dominated sites. Studies have shown that only 7% of the US market uses web based auction sites preferring to shop and buy on fixed price sites. un8ty has successfully taken the best of all the above competitors platforms and technology to offer a superior buying experience by combining flat rate rewards, celebrity social media reach and the effectiveness of crowdfunding. Proof of Concept: Risk/Opportunity Our greatest risk involves the attempted replication of our unique business model by one of our competitors. However, un8ty will be the first to market with the Digital Dream Suite™ and, because of the 30 plus years of management in dealing with celebrities in the charitable space, we will have the obvious marketing advantage. The art of celebrity wrangling is not something that can be learned overnight, so our expertise will be a major factor in drawing celebrities as we are creating a customized platform that is easy for them to use and accommodates their very busy schedules. The un8ty Management Team The management team is led by Chief Executive Officer Jeff Hoffman who has been with the company since the spring of 2011. Mr. Hoffman was a founding member of the Priceline family of companies and the CEO of one its initial companies. Mr. Hoffman and Mr. Weisberger jointly created and ran Black Sky Entertainment which produced the theatrical motion picture Cabin Fever. Mr. Hoffman was recently appointed by President Obama to serve on the Administration's new Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and was inducted into the Entrepreneur Hall of Fame. Steven Yamin is the President of un8ty and the founder of the company. Mr. Yamin was also the founder and CEO of Conscience Entertainment Group LLC, which represented numerous charitable organizations, including the American Lung Association and the Special Olympics of Southern California. Mr. Yamin regularly works with many major celebrities in conjunction with charitable events of all kinds. He has fifteen years philanthropic experience with extensive knowledge of celebrity fundraising. Last year Mr. Yamin founded the Conscience Cocktails Networking Group which will be used to further promote un8ty and the un8ty Foundation. Glenn Weisberger is un8ty’s COO and CFO with over twenty-five years of experience as both an attorney and Certified Public Accountant. He was previously Executive Vice President of Enable Holdings, Inc. (uBid.com) primarily in Business Development.
