What is the National Administration System? • The National Administration System (NAS) is a system for lodging BERs to the National “BER Register” as defined by Section 19(3) of S.I. No. 666 of 2006. • Other functions of NAS • Automatic administrative and technical checks on BER assessments • Keeps an account of BERs submitted by each assessor and automatically charges assessors a fee of €25+ VAT for each assessment published • Reporting function that supports the QA auditing process
Differences between Production NAS and Training NAS • The Training NAS is duplicate of the Production system with following differences: • Different URL http://bertraining.sei.ie • No certificates generated • “Training” appears at the top of each screen • Assessments are not lodged to the National BER Register

Pre-submission information E Useful field for identifying which student lodged an assessment A D F If required, this information must be correct to submit an assessment B C
Problems with submissions • Three common problems encountered with logging on to Training NAS and lodging assessments: • The log on URL is: http://bertraining.sei.ie/ • The password entered incorrect; recommended you copy and paste it • The BER assessor and company number are not entered correctly into DEAP assessment, or the file name is changed
Using Training NAS for first time • Change Your Password-6 characters, one must be a symbol e.g.: “£$%^&*() • Turn off the email option (not recommended for Production NAS) Click here to change options
How to Lodge an Assessment Click either “Rating Upload”
Upload Rating Click “Browse” to select file
Publishing a BER Click “Publish Now”
Publish a BER Click “Publish” to confirm above information
Publish Rating Information • On publishing: • BER becomes a legal document • BER may be viewed on National BER Register • Assessors are charged €25+ VAT • Therefore you are asked to reconfirm publishing Click “OK” if you want to publish

Printing BER Cert Click “Open” to view BER Cert
View Rating details Click BER Number to view details
View Rating details Click Errors/Notices to view Notices details
Not Yet Published (NYP) Click “NYP” to view all your NYP records
Rejects Click “Rejects” to view all your Reject records
Rejects Click Errors/Notices to view reason for Reject
Repair Click “Repairable” to view all your Repairable records
Repair Reason why Rating is classified as in Repair
