  3. What is the National Administration System? • The National Administration System (NAS) is a system for lodging BERs to the National “BER Register” as defined by Section 19(3) of S.I. No. 666 of 2006. • Other functions of NAS • Automatic administrative and technical checks on BER assessments • Keeps an account of BERs submitted by each assessor and automatically charges assessors a fee of €25+ VAT for each assessment published • Reporting function that supports the QA auditing process

Differences between Production NAS and Training NAS • The Training NAS is duplicate of the Production system with following differences: • Different URL http://bertraining.sei.ie • No certificates generated • “Training” appears at the top of each screen • Assessments are not lodged to the National BER Register

The information contained in this email is required to submit BER assessments on the BER National Administration System (NAS) and for official correspondence with SEI. It is recommended that you save this email for future reference. Your Personal BER Assessor Details: BER Assessor Name: Training 1 Registered Email Address: training1@gmail.com BER Assessor Number: 500010 NAS User Name: 500010 NAS Password*: g7TWu/@(2_#H3y Assessor Company Number: 500010 *Note: It is recommended that you change your password the first time you login to the NAS. Your password will need to be at least 6 characters long and include at least one symbol Login to NAS: Your user name and password above are required to login to the NAS: https://ber.sei.ie. Assessor details (include in DEAP assessment)

Problems with submissions • Three common problems encountered with logging on to Training NAS and lodging assessments: • The log on URL is: http://bertraining.sei.ie/ • The password entered incorrect; recommended you copy and paste it • The BER assessor and company number are not entered correctly into DEAP assessment, or the file name is changed

  13. Using Training NAS for first time • Change Your Password-6 characters, one must be a symbol e.g.: “£$%^&*() • Turn off the email option (not recommended for Production NAS) Click here to change options

  14. How to Lodge an Assessment Click either “Rating Upload”

  17. Copy of email you will receive if upload accepted

  19. Publishing a BER Click “Publish Now”

  21. Publish a BER Click “Publish” to confirm above information

  22. Publish Rating Information • On publishing: • BER becomes a legal document • BER may be viewed on National BER Register • Assessors are charged €25+ VAT • Therefore you are asked to reconfirm publishing Click “OK” if you want to publish
