March 11, 2013 • Please turn in your “Report Card” assignment if necessary and turn in your signed grade sheet. • Drill: Why was Andrew Jackson elected to the presidency? • Objective: Students will investigate the Indian Removal Act in order to evaluate the painting “Trail of Tears” as a commemoration of the forced removal of the Cherokee people. • Homework 1A: Complete through document 5 by Friday, get your grade sheet signed • Homework 3A: complete through document 7 by Wednesday, get your grad sheet signed
