Mosborough RUFC AGM – 14.5.12 The Committee proposal is to introduce a ‘Standing Order’ method of fee payment. This is to be introduced to Senior playing members only
Mosborough RUFC AGM – 14.5.12 • It is crucial that, as a Club, we start to become ‘cash positive’ during a season. • The increased amount of finance passing through the Club needs to be controlled in a more professional manner • The intention is to make things easier for Committee, Captains and Players alike WHY !!!!

Mosborough RUFC AGM – 14.5.12 • Cost of 20% members not paying annual subscriptions – 20 x £50.00 = £1000.00 • Cost of 2No players, per team not paying match fees - 6 x £5.00 x 37 = £1110.00 • Any chasing and monitoring of the above takes a lot of work and at times the ‘chaser’ can be stuck between a rock and an hard place come selection time when priorities are tested !!!! – SHOULD ANYONE BE PUT IN THAT POSITION ??? A few facts and figures :-
Mosborough RUFC AGM – 14.5.12 • 75 playing members where 50 are full members and 25 are discretionary • 109 playing weeks • 1st XV 37 weeks • 2nd XV 33 weeks • 3rd XV 27 weeks • Vets XV 12 weeks • 62 referee weeks Proposal Assumptions :-
Mosborough RUFC AGM – 14.5.12 Referees £1550.00 Pitches £1000.00 Training £2500.00 Kit Wash £1,110.00 Equipment (25%) £500.00 (75% via sponsorship) RFU / Refs Fees £1000.00 Total £7660.00 ( Further assumption made that match day food would be covered from raffle proceeds ) Expenditure Assumptions :-
Mosborough RUFC AGM – 14.5.12 • Full Player £15.00 per month (12 months) • Discretionary rate £7.50 per month (12 months) • Veterans Only rate £7.50 per month (12 months) • Guest players £10.00 per game • Income stream • Full playing membership £180.00 x 50 = £9000.00 • Discretionary membership £90.00 x 25 = £2250.00 • Total £11250.00 Payment Suggestion :-
Mosborough RUFC AGM – 14.5.12 • The monthly payment includes :- • Annual Subscriptions • All match Fees • £20.00 / £10.00 towards End of Season Dinner ticket • Injuries of one month or greater will have payments reimbursed • No bank details required by MRUFC so privacy is maintained Player Benefits :-
