VetusLatina Database • The VLD contains the comprehensive patristic records of the Vetus Latina Institut in Beuron. • Study of the Latin versions of the Bible preceding the Vulgate. • Due to the success of the Vulgate, the direct textual tradition of the Vetus Latina is meager. • The basic sources are the biblical citations or allusions found within the writings of the Church Fathers.

  3. the complete repertorium of H.J. Frede (Kirchenschriftsteller - Verzeichnis und Sigel, Freiburg, 1995) can be consulted online within the application, as well as the repertorium’s regular updates by Professor Gryson.

  4. List of Bible books Select the book of Genesis.
