  2. Flat rope LED lights are small bulbs that are placed evenly in a plastic tube. They can be used indoors or outdoors. LED stands for Light-emitting Diode. It was a Russian invention and as late as 1960 the United States began to utilize these types of lights. During the 1960's they only emitted the color red but due to the technology of today they are available now in many colors. They are made even by setting a series of one-half watt mini bulbs into a small tube, which can be translucent or transparent. The life of flat rope LED lights is usually twenty-five thousand hours of usage.

  3. They come in a kit with a power cord, pins to fix the rope to where you want it, power connector, and fifty feet light coil. They can be bent in almost shape that you want. These rope lights are very efficient, virtually unbreakable, durable, and environment-friendly. They are waterproof and use very low voltage.

There are many different ways you can use flat rope LED lights in your yard, which can include: • They can be used to highlight the sides of your pavements so no one slips off the side of your sidewalks. You can use the solar-powered ones here. • Highlight your stairs by putting the rope lights alone the risers but make sure that you fit them correctly so people do not trip on them. • You can wrap two or more different lights on the tree branches and trunks to give your yard a festive look.
