  2. How is truth like an elastic band? • The truth is like an elastic band because even if you lie and you hide it thinking no one will realise the truth bounces back and no matter what you will eventually be discovered. A rubber band can fling back at you just like the truth does.

  3. How can the truth be twisted? • The truth is a fact but it can be twisted if people exaggerate the tiniest detail or they lie and change something. Soon the truth will be so twisted and knotted that it would become almost impossible to fix but, if you dig deep enough and try with all your might you will be able to untie the knots and discover the truth.

  4. How can the truth be stretched? • The truth can be stretched by people exaggerating the truth and keep adding to the story to make it more interesting. Slowly a lie is formed and although parts of it would be true the truth would be stretched.

  5. How can the truth be used as a weapon? • The truth can be used as a weapon because if the truth gets into the wrong hands people could use it against you and threaten you or blackmail you because you don't want other people to know the truth. The truth can also be used to further a persons career. For instance: you get into the parliament but your rival brings up the fact that when you were young you used drugs. This can affect your career and make you lose your job.

  6. The truth is sharp, hard and slippery • The truth is sharp because it can pierce your heart with sadness and hurt you. It is hard because it is hurtful and a heavy weigh to carry on your shoulders. The truth is slippery because even when you believe you have a firm grasp on it the tiniest lies can make it hide, run away or disappear.
