Function(s) of Excretory System • The main function of Excretory System is to release waste water (urine).
Kidneys • Kidneys: the kidneys make the urine.
Bladder Bladder: The bladder stores the urine.
Ureters The ureters are tube shaped organs whose main function is to deliver urine from the kidneys downward to the urinary bladder.
Urinary Bladder • Urinary Bladder: The urinary bladder is the organ that collects urine excreted by the kidneys before disposal by urination.
Urethra • Urethra: In anatomy, the urethra is a tube that connects the urinary bladder to the genitals for the removal of fluids from the body.
What it Works Together With • The excretory system works well with digestive system because the excretory system is attached to the digestive system,and they remove the wastes of our body.
Process of System • The process of this system is that you drink the liquids. The liquids go to the digestive system. Then it goes into the excretory system. The kidneys make the waste water(urine). Then the bladder stores it. Then it goes into the ureters. Then the urine goes to the urinary bladder. Then out the body by the urethra.
