Logistics and Transport Satellite Communications Innovation services offering scheme • The innovation services will support the development of ITS MSS in the local and international market. • Specific innovating offering schemes for the satellite communications segment will be developed for projects focused on: • Broadband Internet Access on board • Telemedicine and telerefer services • Integration between mobile satellite networks and land networks (remote office, intranet access) • Telemonitoring, teleassistance, etc. • Strictly integrated with the offering system in the maritime market, specific solutions will be developed for projects focused on: • Fleet management and telemetry • Intermodal systems management (fixed- mobile communications) • Monitoring of dangerous transportations • Navigational aids

Focus on technical organization • Enforcement and development of technical support for the distribution and service network. • Enforcement and development of a “technical competence Centre ” for: • National and international regulation system analysis; • Best solution system analysis for each sector; • New international partnership for product distribution; • Project support; • Pre-sales activity support.
Service assistance (1) 1. technical support ITS Maritime and Satellite Services is: • The assignee of the Individual License (now a general authorisation) 737/00/CONS for the installation and maintenance of the ship-borne equipment for safe navigation and for the safety of life at sea, granted by the National Authority for the Guarantee in Communications on resolution of the Italian Ministries of Transport and Communications. • One of the companies in Italy responsible for carrying out maintenance and installation of mandatory equipment on Italian registered vessels.
Service assistance (2) ITS Maritime and Satellite Services disposes of: • A National service station network: A technical organization with employed service engineers in the main Italian ports as well as offices, warehouses and laboratories spread in strategic locations on the Italian coast • An indirect network of service agents: A national network of service agents under contract to cover the minor national ports and a large network of partners worldwide under bilateral agreements to ensure reciprocal service assistance. • Central Coordination Dept.: An operational service headquarters to provide, arrange and monitor our clients’ and partners’ service requirements and the administration of all related accounts.
16 Service agents acting under contract • The Central Coordination Department • The Technical Support Group at our Rome headquarters is responsible for: • Handling the clients’ requirements in the territory • Handling the clients’ requirements abroad • Coordination and monitoring of the activity • Providing Logistic support for the Service and installation activity Trieste Venice Genoa Viareggio • Territorial network – Local Offices • The territory is organised in 4 different areas, structured to support local clients directly , according to the following scheme: • North-Western Area: Genoa and Viareggio; • North-Eastern: Venice and Trieste; • Central-Southern Area and Sardinia: Naples, Bari and Taranto; • Sicilian Area : Augusta and Palermo. Bari Rome Naples Taranto Palermo Indirect network ITS-MMS currently disposes of a network of 16 service agents under contract operating in the minor ports of the Italian coast. A network of Partners and Associates worldwide is also present through bilateral agreements in order to guarantee assistance around the world to all ITS-MMS clients both for mandatory and non-mandatory ship-borne equipment. The MC3 2. a “technical competence Centre “ MC 3 Fruit of the cooperation between ITS-MMS and the Parthenope university of Naples is : • a specialized laboratory for the testing of equipment and integrated systems • a research centre for project analisys and the accomplishment of new services within the maritime market in the navigation and marine and satellite communications sector. • support for specialized training programmes.
Focus on commercial organization • Marketing activities focused on identification of new offering systems; • Direct and indirect sales force coordination based in our Rome head office; • Enforcement and development of the distribution network in the territory and integration with the head office for the optimization of the customer offering scheme (mainly on innovation services); • Enforcement of the indirect sales network to manage specific market segments.
The structure Sales Organization • Management: The commercial management supports the sales network in the territory with specific strategies and offering schemes and in cooperation the marketing and purchasing management, coordinates and handles a direct relationship with Top clients (major shipowners and shipyards) as well as manufacturers and partners. • Sales network: The territorial sales network is located in 7 strategic geographical locations and counts a total of XX sales managers, covering the entire national market. • Indirect Sales network:A flexible organization focused on customer segments not directly controlled by the sales network.
Management • The management group at the head office is responsible for: • Maintaining a direct business relationship with Top clients (Important shipowners and shipyards) • Handling of the business relationship with manufacturers and partners • Coordination of all the sales activities • Supplying logistic support • Territorial network • Punctually distibuted on the most important commercial districts in order to strategically handle and support local clients’ requirements: • Genoa • Venice and Trieste; • Rome and Naples • Augusta and Palermo. • Indirect sales network • To cover the clients’ requirements in secondary market segments: • Fishing owners and associations • Small leisure crafts Direzione Generale Presidio Commerciale The network Trieste Venice Genoa Rome Naples Palermo Augusta
