LVSR Background Info • LVSR Definition • Logistics Vehicle System Replacement • Consists of FPU – Forward Power Unit & RBU – Rear Body Unit • 430” Length X 96” Width X 102” Height • Speed 65 MPH on road • 83 foot turning radius • 4 axle steering • Using Palletized Load System is self-loading • LVSR Limitations • Vehicle does not offer air ride suspension • Should only be used for transporting MFs short distance • Claw must be stowed • MF w/skids will not secure to bed. Alternate methods to secure. • Remove Skids • Straps • Mount 20’ flat rack • Must be loaded with external MHE (not self-loading) MCO 13670.1A para C.3.g states that only authorized method of transportation are air-ride, air and ship
