  3. Important Dates to Remember • Important terms to know: • TANF- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families • SNAP- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (Food Stamps)

  4. First Steps • VSR available once October claim is submitted.

  5. Section 1 Changes: • 1-1 and 1-2 will be filled in based on the October claim

  6. Section 2 Changes: • Reporting additional information

  7. Section 3 Changes: • Division between SNAP vs. all else • Posting State-generated direct cert number

  8. Determining Eligibility on DC • When you receive a DC match make sure to record whether it is a SNAP (Food Stamp), TANF, or Foster Child Match. • Find this information in column U: • F = SNAP (Food Stamps) • A = TANF • W = Foster Child

  10. Remember! • Report: • Total number of applications as of October 1st • Total number of enrolled students as of October 31st
