  1. The FATHER’s HEART !!! • Rom 8:15-16 - Ampl • Verse 15: For [the Spirit which] you have now recived [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit that produces Sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, ABBA, Father !!! • Verse 16: The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are Children of God !!! • PS 68:5 Ampl • A Father of the fatherless and a judge and protector of the widows is God in His Holy habitation !!! • Father = Aramic word ‘ab, which is one of the first words a baby would speak. (egAbbraham = Father of Many Nations) • But ‘abba is common in Hebrew as the word Israeli children use for “daddy” !!! • NOW: Jesus applied this toddler’s word to His Divine Father when He was in great despair/affliction just before going to the cross praying in Gethsemane (Mark 14:36 – “And He said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what Thou wilt.” • Gal 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. • From this we can see that it is God’s intention for us, not only to know Him as God & a Righteous Judge, but also to know Him as intimately as Jesus did – i.e. as MY/OUR FATHER !!! • As the Prayer that Jesus taught us in Mat 6:5-15& Luk 11:1-4 - starts with OUR FATHER !! • Now as Paul also continues in Rom 8:17 Ampl: • And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His GLORY !!!

  2. The FATHER’s HEART !!! THUS: I can say with all certainty that God loves us, with a Heart of a Parent (a true Father in deed) !!! See Ps 27:10, Ps 103:13 & Isa 49:15-16 !! God loves us deeply and dearly – and has no intention whatsoever to Leave us or Forsake us. Also see Heb 13:5 – Ampl. Jesus also said in Joh 14:18 (ampl) “I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless]; I will come [back] to you” See Isa 9:6 Jesus was also prophesied to be “…Everlasting Father” – or directly translated from Hebrew = “Father of Eternity” The way/means to know this Love of our Father, is onoly through the Holy Spirit Joh 14:16-24 “…I will pray the Father, He will give you another Helper (allos Parakletos = another exactly as I am called beside you to assist you) that He may abide with you forever, the Spirit of TRUTH…for He dwells with you, and will be IN YOU !!...if any one loves Me, he/she will keep my Word and My Father will love him/her, and WE WILL COME to him/her and MAKE OUR HOME WITH HIM/HER !!!” (also see Jesus’ Final Prayer in Joh 17)

The FATHER’s HEART !!! • NOW: Rom 5:5 describes it all so deeply: • Now HOPE does not disappoint, because the LOVE (Agapé) of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us !! • Meaning we can have a close loving relationship with God as our Father, just as Jesus did – through the Holy Spirit!! • Which is one of the many reasons why Jesus chose to go through with His death on the cross and everything that went with it !! • i.e. see 2 Cor 5:18 “Now all things are of God, Who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of Reconciliation !!!” (or as the MSG states it:...Who settled the relationship between us and Him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other) • Which is called GRACE throughout the New Testament !!! • And we can receive this GRACE only through FAITH (believing that the WORD is TRUE) and no other way – especially not through our own good works !!! (Eph 2:8-9, Rom 5:1-2, Gal 3, Rom 10:6-13) • GRACE = God’s UNMERITED FAVOR that He chooses to pour out on us !! • BUT GRACE also implies Forgiveness – and thus also Mercy. ‘Cause if there is no Forgiveness, we will not be able to receive/experience God’s favor in our lives either…!!

The FATHER’s HEART !!! • NOW: If I want to explain GRACE I also have to Explain Righteousness !! • And the example God gave me once was as follows: • Righteousness = perfect peace and mutual trust in a particular relationship of 2 persons • But if one of the 2 parties does something, to hurt that relationship – they are behaving un-righteously (or sinful) towards the other party… • And if that should happen – a price needs to be paid by that party in order for the innocent Party who has been treated unfairly, to forgive and to bring the relationship back in harmony (or bring it back into righteousness – meaning right standing – restoring the trust) • This price is thus also determined by the Innocent Party • NOW: The true SIN that ADAM & EVE did was to choose to select their own way ABOVE God’s way !!! • In other words saying to God – we think our way is better than Your WAY – by “thinking” if they eat from the TREE of KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL – they can be like God on their own merit and through their own strength and Wisdom…!!! (Gen 3:6) • Which is exactly what we are still doing today – in so many ways – thinking we KNOW ourselves what to do etc etc… • Forgetting that the ONE Who created the Heavens and the Earth and everything on and in it – are much GREATER and Wiser and Stronger than we would ever be able to be !!! • God says in Isa 55:8-9 that His THOUGHTS are even HIGHER than our Thoughts and His WAYS are HIGHER THAN our Ways !! • Then Jesus came in Joh 14:6 – that He is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE !! • Meaning – our way, our truth and our life is inferior to God’s – and we have sinned and is falling short of God’s GLORY !!! (Rom 3:23)

  5. The FATHER’s HEART !!! THUS: A Price had to be paid – as God was very disappointed when He realized the choice that Adam & Eve made – after He warned them on purpose !!! (Gen 2:17) Also God knows that us as the human race have been deceived and thus the reason why we think (even today still) that we are better than God is !! (Gen 3:13 & Jer 9:6, 2 Cor 11:3) AND: God knows that the Price He requires is DEATH (blood must flow) – and that we will never be able to pay it out of our own strength – to bring reconciliation between us & God (Ezek 18:4 & Ezek 18:20 – The soul that sins must die) Also from the offers that God required from Israel, shows that only one who has no sin will be able to pay the price (ransom) – no one else can – and there are no righteous man on this earth – as we were all received and born into sin (Ps 51:5, Heb 9 & 10) Thus God had to make a plan – and choose to send His only Begotten Son (completely innocent and perfect) (Joh 3:16) – Who knew no sin – to be MADE SIN on our behalf – in order to bring reconciliation between us and Him again…(2 Cor 5:21) And through the death of Jesus – by His Blood, we are reconciled !!! (Col 1:20) Law requirement = BLOOD to FLOW. And thus, once the requirement of the law has been fulfilled, the people can go free from guilt, shame & thus also condemnation And this is what the bible means by the Blood of Jesus cleanses us of all unrighteousness !!! This cleansing then also brings HEALING !!! (1 Pet 2:24) Also: Then God decided to also RAISE JESUS from the DEAD again – showing us His Heart as a Righteous Father – indicating to Jesus First and also to us that He is GOOD and that He loves us (His creation) dearly – and don’t want to loose 1 of us !!! (Luk 15, Joh 6:39, Ps 73:1) ‘Cause only a Righteous person is allowed to live – unrighteousness will be removed !!! (Prov 11:4-8&21 , Ps 34:17-19, Ps 51:14, Ps 71:2-4, Ps 119:144, Prov 10:2,Ezek 3:21 Ezek 18:22-24, Ezek 33:13, Rom 1:17, Rom 10:5) And now we who choose to believe (Joh 6:29) – are called the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD (2 Cor 5:21). Thus we are in right standing with God first and then also coming into right standing with our brothers & sisters

The FATHER’s HEART !!! • And now we can receive all the GRACE and LOVE from God which He so much wants to pour out on US !!! • All He requires from us – is to keep on believing it, and live according to that – and not to go back on eating from that tree of knowledge of good and evil behind His back again and again…!!! (iow – stop trying to think that you can be “better” in any way – and rather admit like Jesus even did – without My Father I can do nothing – Joh 5:19 & 30, Joh 8:28, Joh16:23, 1 Cor 2:1-2) • AND: Now this is where GRACE – God’s UNMERITED FAVOUR really comes in – that even if we are “eating” from that forbidden tree ever so now and then again unknowingly, the death & resurrection of Jesus still stands and He still forgives us – even after we have been born again, cleansed, Spirit Filled and baptized !! (Phil 1:6 – Started a good work in us, 1 Joh 5:16, Jam 5:14-15, 2 Cor 6:1 – Don’t receive the Grace of God in vain, nor fall from Grace by trying to get God’s favor through works – Gal 5:4) • Also see 1 Joh 1:6 to 1 Joh 2:2 (another example is the Corinthian chirch: 2 Cor 7:1-12)

  7. The FATHER’s HEART !!! • What an AWESOME LOVE this is of God – truly a love of a Father … !!! • Nothing we can do to top that !!! • All we can do is come running to Him and say “Father forgive me, for I know not what I was doing !!!” • And Jesus says via John in 1 John 1:9 – that “IF we confess our SINS He is FAITHFULL (completely trustworthy) and Just (Righteous Judge and fully able to Justify) to FORGIVE us our sins AND to CLEANSE US from ALL Unrighteousness !!!!” • See 1 Joh 2:1-2 “My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins – we have an ADVOCATE with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation (the one who is standing in our place – as the atoning sacrifice) for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world !!!” • ‘Cause God knows and Jesus knows – we can’t stay clean even after we have been cleansed the first time – and therefore His blood is forever cleansing us – as well as the washing of the Word (Eph 5:26) – in order to present us as the BRIDE before the Father (Eph 5:27) Without spot, or blemish or wrinkle – Holy for God !!! (The NEW Jerusalem – Rev 21, Also see Joh 13 –washing of the Feet of the disciples) • And now – after all this – writes Paul in Gal 5 – we must now choose to STAY in the SPIRIT of GOD – and we will not fulfill the LUSTS of the FLESH (see also 1 Joh 2:16) • And lastly – because of the forgiveness we have received – we should also give that same forgiveness to our fellow humans – as we have ALL been deceived – and none of us are living 100% correct every day as God would have required from us… • Mat 18 – states it so special – we must be willing to forgive my brother even up to 70 times 7 a day if need be !!! And then Jesus gave them a parable of how serious God sees it that He forgives us our trespasses, but we aren’t willing to forgive our brothers and sisters their trespasses… (see also 1 Joh 2:9-12) • This is as good as giving Him a slap in the face saying His forgiveness and love He so generously gives to us, isn’t good enough !!! • Therefore Humble yourselves today – and receive God’s love and Forgiveness !!!

  8. The FATHER’s HEART !!! • 1 Joh 2:15 Ampl • Do not love or cherish the World or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love for the Father is not in him !!! • Invitation for the following: • To come to Christ for the very First time !! • To make right with God all over again • To receive forgiveness for yourself • To forgive others • To be filled with God’s loving Spirit – to help you and protect you and to open the way for you to walk in the Spirit !!! (Luk 11:13) AMEN !!!!
