Unique Facts • A savanna is a rolling grassland scattered with shrubs and isolated trees, which can be found between a tropical rainforest and desert biome. Not enough rain falls on a savanna to support forests.
Man Activities • The causes of deforestation are complex and can be argued. They seem to appear from a mixture of climatic change and population growth. Population growth leads to factors which lead to desertification.
Producers and Consumers • Producers in the savannah include the sun, trees, shrubs, and grasses. The sun provides plants with the energy to grow.Herbivores, such as giraffes and zebras, then consume the vegetation.
