Organic Green Tea Powder • One of the most incredible things about our organic green tea powder aka, ‘matcha’ is that it can be used in practically EVERYTHING. Not only is it an amazing for it’s traditional consumption as a tea, but it’s deemed it’s worth in the cafe scene as a latte, pancakes, waffles and even in hollandaise sauces! Matcha can be added into every dish to add a lovely, vibrant green colour, a huge kick of antioxidants and of course a green tea flavour! For those who don’t like the green tea flavour, it can be hidden in foods and you wouldn’t even notice. • We love adding our organic green tea powder straight into sauces and dressing as it is easily dissolved and helps to cut out a bit of sweetness or saltiness with it’s mild bitter taste. This recipe below is a perfect way to get an antioxidant hit to any meal whilst getting all of your serves of fibrous vegetables in for the day.
RAW VEGAN BUDDHA BOWL WITH CREAMY MATCHA TAHINI • Ingredients • Handful of Spinach • ¼ zucchini spiralised • ¼ carrot spiralised • ½ Avocado (1/4 can be used for the dressing) • 3-4 cherry tomatoes halved • Sesame seeds • Dressing ingredients • 2 tbsp Hulled or unhulledtahini • ½ tsp organic green tea @matcha_maiden powder • ½ tsp Garlic paste • 1 tbsp Tamari • 1 tsp Rice malt syrup • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Method • 1. Place spinach at the bottom of the bowl and top with your carrot & zucchini noodles • 2. Slice ¼ of avocado and the cherry tomatoes on top. • 3. Mix all the dressing ingredients together* • 4. Drizzle the dressing on the bowl • 5. ENJOY! • *you can add them all into a blender with ¼ the avocado to make it super creamy or add a splash of water to the tahini and other dressing ingredients and stir well to make it creamy.
