  3. Early Life… • When Flo was 7 years old, she began Running • She was a Star Athlete by adolescence, and a straight – A student • She was raised in the Jordan Downs public housing complex

  4. Reaching The Climax • Her excellence in all endeavors inspired her fans to achieve their own great heights • She was a true role model who everyone wanted to follow • She captured the world with her speed, grace and charm

  5. The Top of The Mountain • She captured people’s attention by flashy one-legged outfits, long hair, and brightly painted fingernails • She won 3 gold medals and 1 silver medal in the 1988 Seoul Olympic games • She broke world records in the 100 and 200 meter women’s events …

  6. The Top of The Mountain… • She earned herself the title of: “World’s Fastest Woman” • The picture of her waving the American flag at the Seoul games was “A legend that defined the American Dream”

Paparazzi • She was an eloquent spokeswoman who shared her expertise and enthusiasm for fitness with the nation • She was a Co-chairman of the Presidents Council on Physical Fitness and Sports • She excelled in the fields of fashion design, acting, writing, sports casting, a wife, and a mother
