  2. Military Contributed by Waylin • Over the course of ancient history, the military's and the nature of war evolved constantly in Mesopotamia. • In Samaria city states fought each other over water rights and farming land. • They used slings , simple missiles and simple bows.

  3. Money contributed by Newt • The Mesopotamia peoples used silver coins. • They didn’t just use silver coin they had golden coins. • They didn’t just call them coins they called them emperors

  4. ART Contributed by Kyra • They didn’t draw much, they carved stones. • they made fancy chairs and unglazed faces that kept water cool. • They made jewelry of precious gold and lapis.

  5. TradecontributedbyWillard • They traded Grains, donkeys, pots. • They only traded in the near east. • International trade in this period was limited both and as in the quantity of products.

  6. music contributed by Newt • They had many musical instruments, including the harp, reed pipes, drums, and the lyre. • The Samarians loved music. It seemed to be a important part of religious and civic live in summer • Many of the songs were for the goddess Inana.
