BRINGING IN THE HARVEST It was the spiritual harvest fields of the world that Jesus Christ constantly focused the attention of His disciples. Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. (John 4:35) It is to this purpose More Than Conquerors School of Theology is dedicated. The purpose being to recruit, train, motivate, and mobilize a network of international schools that can train harvesters capable of: 1. INTERCESSION for international spiritual harvest. ...The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest. (Matthew 9:37-38) 2. ARTICULATION of the principles of spiritual harvest. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. (II Timothy 2:2)
3. DEMONSTRATION of the principles of spiritual harvest. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. (I Corinthians 2:4-5) 4. COMMUNICATION of the urgency of the mandate for worldwide spiritual harvest. The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. (Jeremiah 8:20) 5. MOBILIZATION of members of the Body of Christ to reap their appointed fields in worldwide, end time harvest. ...He reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest. (Jeremiah 5:24) Every child of God should be trained for the “work of the ministry.” Everybody has a ministry. Everyone has a place to serve. God has gifted each and everyone of us for some sort of service. Whether it directly or indirectly deals with the harvest, it is still linked to the bottom line of the Great Commission - responding to the harvest.
Teacher’s Directives Be sure to memorize the “Key Verses” for each chapter before you teach your class, then you can require your students to do the same. The “Key Verse” for each chapter summarizes the basic concept of that chapter. It is part of the Final Exam for students to write from memory the ten key scriptures given for memorization during the course. For each verse they can not write correctly, they will lose 1/2 point. Now you are ready to begin your teaching with the “Introduction” of the chapter. The “Introduction” introduces the content of the lesson. As you are teaching, be sure to read the Roman numeral titles and all other points that follow. This is important so your students can follow you and know exactly where you are, then they can easily fill in every blank in their Student Guides. In order for the material in the MTC courses to flow out of you when you are teaching, you must become very familiar with it. The MTC staff suggests that as “a good rule of thumb,” a teacher should spend a minimum of six hours in preparing for each chapter he or she presents. It is better to spend even more time if possible.
STUDY MATERIALS All Scripture quoted in our courses are from the King James Bible. Because of an international audience, we find it easier and more convenient to use the King James Version. Of course, you may use other versions as you feel led. The curriculum of More Than Conquerors School of Theology is designed so other reference books such as a Bible concordance, dictionary, Bible handbook, atlas, or commentary, etc., are not required or necessary to complete the training. However, if you or your students have access to these materials, we encouraged you to use them. However, MTC is requesting that all extensions of MTC work towards have and maintain a library with a minimum of 1,000 books, pamphlets, or articles. Books on computer disks are acceptable. MTC has several hundred books on file that a School may print to be used in its library. TUITION Tuition is free for all courses MTC produces. However, there is a $60 charge which includes the Student Guide and the three credits received upon completion of the course. MTC is considering purchasing the rights to make available a few courses from other Bible Schools. If this becomes a reality, the charge for a student taking one of their courses, could differ. MTC will make costs available at the time a School makes an inquiry in regards to using one of these courses.
