  3. FEUP : Faculty of Engineering The Engineering Faculty (FEUP) is the largest faculty of the University of Porto and has statutory, scientific, administrative and financial autonomy. The origin of FEUP dates from the creation of the Nautical School in 1762 and in its present designation exists since 1926.

  4. AREAS OF ACTIVITY : TEACHING 9 undergraduate courses, 30 MSc courses and PhD in 12 fields of engineering. : RESEARCH FEUP is currently involved in more than one hundred research projects, many of these on an international basis and in cooperation with industry.

  5. AREAS OF ACTIVITY : DEVELOPMENT FEUP provides significant support to the community, in close cooperation with the national industry. A wide type of services are offered, namely: production of software, prototype development, consulting, technical and economic feasibility studies, chemical analysis and other laboratory support services.
