  2. E.L. Konigsburg E.L Konigsburg was born on Feb. 10th 1930 in smal towns Pennysylvania she and her husband moved to Jacksonville, Fla. Where she taught a all girls school and had 3 chidern when they were in elemtary school she started the writing career. The title of her first book was, Jennifer. Her 2nd book was The Mixed Up Files which won the newberrymetal.She recently died at the age of 83 in 2013.

Newbery Medal • The Newbery Medal was created by John Newbery. • However this medal was established in 1922. • This The medal is awarded annually by the A.L.A • medal was named after John Newberry. • The medal is awarded to books that favored literature. • This medal was created in the U.S.A or America. • The purpose of this medal is to encourage work of books for children. • Now this medal is national.

  4. Mrs.Basil E. Frankweiler She also gave the mueseum ‘Angel’ but made it secretive. Mrs.Basil E. Frankweiler made a deal with Claudia And Jamie. When it comes to wise food she is not as fancy. Even though she is extremly rich she is caring. Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler is rich and elderly (From the book) Mrs. Basil’s hair was white like nylon thread. She has a butler named Simon Parks. Her house is like a museum.She is also the narrorater of The Mixed Up Files Of…

  5. Claudia • Claudia is very neat,she loves bathes, and she is a little bit snobby. She likes art and a safe place to live (example the art museum) She is twelve yrs. old has brown hair in the sixth grade. She is a perfectionist, good at English and grammar, and good at planning. She is not good with money. She was also the one who decided to run away.

  6. Jamie • Jamie is the nine year old brother of Claudia in the Mixed Up Files Of Mrs.Basil E. Frankwieler. Jamie (as Claudia describes him) is rich and is only in 4th grade. He cheats at playing ‘War’. He is very quiet but good with his money and responsible, he is also a cheapskate. He is not as neat as Claudia. Jamie does not think before his actions.

  7. Summary Of The Mixed Up Files Of… • First, Claudia runs away with her nine year old brother. Then they hide in their bus on the way to school and then they get onto a train to travel to the museum. After that, they discover a statue named ‘Angel’. Next, they do research about ‘Angel’ and find out it could be Michael Angelo’s art piece. After they do research, they send a letter to the museum stating what they think is Michael Angelo’s. However, the museum send a letter back making Claudia discouraged. Finally, they travel to Mrs. Frankweiler’s house and discover it was his work.

  8. Review Of The Book Kaitlyn and I think Claudia is snobby, we think this because she is constantly correcting Jamie about his grammar. We thought it was funny when Jamie was pushing all of the buttons in the car. The most interesting part in our opinion is when they were sneaking around in the museum. The main part of the book was Jamie and Claudia running away and their adventures. I would recommend this book to a friend.
