What is Presenter? • Adobe Presenter is a plug-in to Microsoft PowerPoint • With just a few clicks in PowerPoint, you can turn a set of PowerPoint Slides into eLearning content. • You can easily record narration over the slides, capture video files, and add a quiz
Key capabilities • Easily create professional Flash presentations and self-paced courses complete with narration and interactivity. • Import and edit video in any format and export as SWF. • Record and edit high-quality audio. • Deliver advanced quizzes and surveys. • Publish content as a PDF file, preserving all of your animations.
Is Presenteron my PC? • Open Microsoft PowerPoint • You will see an Adobe Presenter Ribbon • Presenter is part of the Adobe Suite • You will have to ask for it to be installed by your CSO
Prepare your Presentation • Create and Save your PowerPoint Presentation • Select the Adobe Presenter Ribbon • Record on the Audio Section
Import Notes • Choose All Slides • OK • This option means when you play the slideshow you can also display the text notes.
Record your Audio • Click on the Red Record Button • Green Play Button to listen.
Insert a SWF File • Insert SWF
Insert an Audio File • Can be MP3 – easily created using Audacity
Quiz Steps • Presenter Ribbon • Quiz • Add New • Add Quiz • Quiz Settings • Question Types • Add Question • Save
Quizzes can be added quite easily • Switch to Urban Quiz Presentation to demonstrate this.
Publish to your Computer • Choose Location; check Settings; Publish
Publish to the Connect Server • This is a little more tricky, you need have Author rights on the server
Where is it now? • You will find a number of files have been created in the Folder(24 in this case). • The Urban Theme Presentation was saved into a specific folder – notice it contains a number of sub folders.
