  1. An Update for the 19-20 School Year for INNOVATIONS HIGH SCHOOL

  2. How’d We Do Last Year? • Graduation Rate: Still TBD – AND we are hoping to see something between 78%-81%! • Innovations did NOT have a School Performance Plan for the 18-19 SY due to ACCREDITATION • Innovations HS lost it’s Title 1 Status/Funding  • Innovations HS was identified as a CSI Designated School based on: • A previous graduation rate that was below 67% • One Star School Status (NSPF)

  3. How Did Accreditation Go? • Well, first off: YES, WE WERE GRANTED ACCREDITATION again!  Woo Hoo! • The Following Areas at Innovations HS were found to be HIGHLY IMPACTFUL by the Accreditation Review Team: • Purpose and direction • Learning culture • Relationships • Equitable opportunities • Resources and services • Collaboration/PD

  4. ACCREDITATION CONTINUED: • The Accreditation Review Team determined that Innovations HS, in order to focus on continuous improvement, can focus on the following (which we plan to include in the 19-20 SY School Improvement Plan): • Ongoing documented analysis and use of multiple learning data • Consistent use of rigorous best practices across the curriculum • Structured and ongoing mentoring and coaching for new staff • Increased FAMILY ENGAGEMENT

  5. 18-19 SY NSPF Ratings • Please See LINKS on Website for a more in-depth explanation of how this Rating System works for schools. • NOTE: • The 2018 NSPF Rating was 8.47 • The 2019 NSPF Rating was 15.56
