This is an information evening for parents regarding the option choices process for S5 and S6 students at Dunblane High School. The event will include discussions on subject surveys, option form drafts, and final option forms. Analysis of the initial form draft shows some problematic combinations, which were resolved in the final form. The available course combinations will be presented, including options for languages and Scottish Baccalaureates. The options for S5 and S6 will be outlined, including period allocation and elective choices. There may be tensions between aspirations, motivation, and attainment. Options interviews will be held in March and August.
