MSA Mission • Our Academy will prepare students to successfully transition to colleges and universities, as well as develop career- readiness through real world experiences. • Our industry partnerships will also expose students to a variety of medical careers and pathways.
MSA Mission • Upon completion of the program students will have developed a professional portfolio showcasing: certificates, letters of recommendation, resume, and other documents of achievement.

Paraprofessional / Licensing Pathway Sample Application Rubric for ROP Vocational Nursing Program: • Coursework completion: MSA pathway courses, clinical courses, certifications, laboratory science classes (5 pts per class) up to 50 pts • High school grade point average up to 15 pts • Health related work experience up to 15 pts • Interview up to 20 pts Maximum Score = 100 points
MSA Entrance Requirements • Minimum 2.0 GPA • Satisfactory Citizenship marks • Satisfactory Attendance – no truancies Program must be startedfreshman year to receive graduation recognition

Pathway Requirements • Meet all EHS graduation requirements • Complete an exploratory Health/Careers course • Complete 3 ROP Medical Sciences Courses • 120 hours of on-the-job training
GraduationRecognition Students earn recognition at the completion of the three year program which includes: submitting a portfolio completing a rigorous exit interview writing a reflective essay
Graduation Recognition Students wear their Academy medal with their cap and gown at graduation ceremony Studentsreceive special recognition in the graduation program Student's transcript will denote Medical Sciences Academy completion
