First Battle on the Mountain • I Kings 20:13-25 • King Ahab of Israel in Samaria had his first victory in battle against Ben Hadad king of the Syrians. • The Israelites had slaughtered the Syrians with a great slaughter on a mountain in Palestine.
Second Battle in the Valley • I Kings 20:26-43 • King Ahab of Israel in Samaria had his second victory in battle against Ben Hadad king of the Syrians. • The Israelites had slaughtered 100,000 Syrian soldiers in one day.
