  2. Animal Family • These Penguins are waiting for the mom because the mom is getting food for her family. • Penguins are part of the bird family. • Penguins do not fly like other birds do.

  3. Habitat • Penguins could live in Antarctica. • Some Penguins don’t live there. • The mom dives in and go gets food while the daddy sits on the egg and waits till it hatches.

  4. Family Life • This is the emperor penguin. • The dad takes good care of the baby when the mom goes to get food.

  5. Diet • This is krill. • This is what penguins eat. • Penguins also eat fish.

  6. Predators\Prey • Emperor penguins can drink seawater if they want to. • A penguins’ biggest predator is killer whales. • What they eat is krill. They like it a lot.
