Columbus • Who was Columbus? • He was an explorer, colonizer and navigator, born in Europe • Finished four voyages across the Atlantic Ocean that introduced American continents • He started his efforts and process to build Spanish colonization on the American soil

Columbus • Your Thoughts • Some of you might think that he was an evil person • Based on Zinn’s research, ‘he was offered 10 percent of profits, governorship over new found lands and the fame with new title: Admiral of the Ocean Sea, in return for bringing back gold and spices from Asia, as he wasted kings money for voyages he was threatened to bring back gold from the Americas by any means’
