Public sector as an educator & influencer - procurement The Public Sector purchases goods and services extensively 13% of GDP Ł4 billion pa Sustainable Procurement Assessment Framework Consistency Transparency Standards The UK Public Sector purchases around Ł150billion in goods and services through external procurement every year, 13% of total GDP In Wales Ł4billion is spent per annum on procurement The Public Sector Sustainable Procurement Framework has been developed to ensure consistency in the purchasing of sustainable goods and services, indicating the criteria through which contracts should be judged.The UK Public Sector purchases around Ł150billion in goods and services through external procurement every year, 13% of total GDP In Wales Ł4billion is spent per annum on procurement The Public Sector Sustainable Procurement Framework has been developed to ensure consistency in the purchasing of sustainable goods and services, indicating the criteria through which contracts should be judged.

Won back their public sector base - now 75% of their contracts Working towards Green Dragon accreditation.
