  3. Internet Services Vodacom’s Business Services division is made up of various towers of operations, with business units responsible for different areas of development, management and support. The Internet Services Business Unit focuses on delivering premium Business Internet Services, over a range of different Layer 2 and Layer 3 Access mediums. Different Internet Access offerings are available, based on customer requirements with optional service level agreements associated in regards to availability, latency, packet loss and contention ratios. In order to cater for various customer requirements, Vodacom has developed the following two categories of Internet access services: • BIA – Broadband Internet Access • DIA – Dedicated Internet Access These offerings meet the requirements of various market segments, namely: • Enterprise/Corporate • SMME/SoHo • Business Partner Resellers • CPP Channel

Broadband Internet Access - BIA • What is meant by Broadband Internet Access (BIA)? • Broadband referrers to high speed always on internet connectivity • Vodacom Business offers a premium Broadband Internet Access through various fixed and wireless access technologies, with low contentionratios: • ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) • VSC – Vodacom Satellite Connect (Capped offerings only) • Different offerings are available based on the customer’s requirements: • Vodacom Business Services offerings • Uncapped Shaped • Small to Large Capps – Shaped or Unshaped

BIA over ADSL – Capped (Shaped) • Business ADSL Capped – SHAPED or UNSHAPED ( Automated account creation!) • Specifically aimed at SoHo and SMME however many opportunities in corporate as well • Available in a blended model as standard, or Local only • 1GB, 3GB, 5GB, 10GB, 15GB and 20GB options available • Cap • Service is throttled to 16kbps • Dynamic IP addresses • Top up options 1GB and 3GB – VodaBiz Connect portal • VB utilizes Billion 7404 CPE, however this is not a requirement! • Low contentions • STATIC IP address available as value ad!
