  1. Dielectric-Lens Nanoantenna IR sensor design (Dielektromos lencse-Nanoantenna Infravörös szenzor tervezése) Gábor Matyi Supervisor: Dr. Árpád I. Csurgay Péter Pázmány Catholic University Information Technology Department Budapest, 2006

  2. Our Purpose: • Uncooled, • multispectral, • highspeed, • CMOS compatible because we fit it in the CNN system.

  3. Geometrical Arrangement(Top View of the double band IR sensor)

  4. Geometrical Arrangement (Cross section of the single- and double band IR sensor)

  5. The used models • We can use the standard EM antenna theory in this case [Sanchez 1978], (MicroStrippes); • A simple and efective modell for the MOM diode is avaiable in the IR regime [Sanchez 1978];

  6. The AC amplitude at the output of the single band IR sensor in the frequency range

  7. The AC amplitude at the output of the double band IR sensor in the frequency range

  8. A possible layout of the double-band IR sensor

  9. The AC amplitude at the output of the double band IR sensor in the frequency range

  10. The effective area of the nano antenna versus dielectric thickness

  11. The radiation pattern in case of dominant lateral wave-propagation

  12. Nano antenna IR sensor combined with dielectric lens II.

  13. Nano antenna IR sensor combined with dielectric lens III.

  14. Nano antenna IR sensor combined with dielectric lens I.

  15. The AC amplitude at the output of the single band IR sensor in the frequency range

  16. The AC amplitude at the output of the dielectric lense IR sensor in the frequency range
