  1. What is MedicAlert? It is a charity Making bracelets and necklaces known as Emblems That let doctors know if you have an allergy or medical condition

  2. What MedicAlert means…. Medic – Short for Paramedic, someone who rides in an ambulance helping people if they have had an accident Alert – We let doctors know (alert them) that the person they have found has a medical condition that they can not see

  3. MedicAlert Symbol of Medicine: A symbol known all around the world - A snake wrapped around a staff

  4. On the back of the bracelet we put information that doctors and nurses need to know. They can call us to find out your name and who to contact.

  6. Who would look for a MedicAlert emblem? Ambulance Staff Doctors & Nurses GPs Pharmacists Police Fire-fighters First Aiders Dentists

  7. 4 million children & adults worldwide Over 4,500 children under 11 in the UK & Ireland and why? Who wears them … Allergies Diabetes Asthma Epilepsy And many more …
