MedicAlert: Symbol of Safety and Care

MedicAlert is a charity providing Emblems in the form of bracelets and necklaces to help medical professionals quickly identify allergies or medical conditions. The symbol - a snake wrapped around a staff - is recognized worldwide, containing vital information on the back. Anyone at risk of emergencies like allergies, diabetes, asthma, or epilepsy can benefit from MedicAlert, with over 4 million members globally. Professionals like paramedics, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, police, firefighters, first aiders, and dentists rely on these Emblems to provide timely care. Over 4,500 children under 11 in the UK and Ireland alone wear MedicAlert for safety.

  1. What is MedicAlert? It is a charity Making bracelets and necklaces known as Emblems That let doctors know if you have an allergy or medical condition

  2. What MedicAlert means…. Medic – Short for Paramedic, someone who rides in an ambulance helping people if they have had an accident Alert – We let doctors know (alert them) that the person they have found has a medical condition that they can not see

  3. MedicAlert Symbol of Medicine: A symbol known all around the world - A snake wrapped around a staff

  4. On the back of the bracelet we put information that doctors and nurses need to know. They can call us to find out your name and who to contact.
