The SP3 Subproject Group accepted in its meeting in May 2008 to base its future work on the principles used by the Finnish Road Administration Four Classes for bridge sites based on the importance of the landscape, city view and cultural values: I Highly demanding II Demanding III Remarkable IV Ordinary

Similar methodology can be developed for other items, too, like for instance:- construction costs- bridge types (girder bridge, arch bridge etc.)- etc.By this way an appropriate tool is created to transform aesthetical and cultural values to LCC

  8. Bro på bostadsområde i närheten av stadskärnan - Miljön är välskött och stadsaktig. • Korsningsbro i gränszonen till en tätort - Belägen vid en mycket trafikerad riksväg.

  9. Klass IV: läget som grund • Utanför den tätaste samhällsstrukturen. • Föga trafikerad fordonsled eller led för cyklister/fotgängare. • Få åskådare. Korsningsbro på typiskt glesbygdsområde - Normal broplats
