  1. Steps on the road to the EU Integrations • Bosnia and Herzegovina signed the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) with the EU on June 16, 2008. Interim Agreement (IA) entered into force on July 1, 2008 and will be applied till the SAA ratification process is completed in all 27 EU member states.Having in mind the complexity of certain tasks arising from the SAA, the engagement of the entire society and all levels of BH authorities will be needed in order to achieve the EU standards.Bosnia and Herzegovina’s accession to the EU would essentially mean the recognition of the successfully performed reform processes, the achievement of high level of macroeconomic and business environment stability and the achievement of high level of democracy and respecting of the European values.
