  1. LUTVID FEST: LIBRARIAN FESTIVAL OF PUPPETRY AND THE BOOK TRAILERS Jelena KalajdzijaSnezana Stevic Public Library Filip VisnjicBijeljina

  2. Public Library "Filip Visnjic" in Bijeljina was founded in 1932. and it is located in the center of the city making triangle with City Museum and the Centre of Culture. Our Library possesses about 105.000 books even though the fund it was harmed and damaged in flotes during last ten years.

  3. LUTVID FEST • LUTVID FEST started in 2016 as a pilot project in a great desire to show the way for organizing new special funds of non book material (puppetry fund and the book trailer as electronic resource)  that would be used for attracting the rest of classical fund: to be new way of recommendation of the book in classical form.

  4. Who can participate? • Any person, school, institution, organization (GO or NGO) which has interest in popularization of reading among children 8 to 14 years. It is allowed to make partnerships.It is needed to form to competition groups gathered around same title but as a unique team:1. younger group 8 to 10 years (max 8 participants) with their mentors (up to 2) has to prepare puppetry play paravan type2. older group 11 to 14 years (no limitation on number of participants) with their mentors (up to 2) are preparing the book trailer and the illustration for the book.Both groups are competing as a unique team popularizing the same title.

  6. Eliminations and mentorship • Teams go trough four eliminations to finals in April. Whether you are debutant or not you are have our mentorship during to finals in every step of puppetry play and the book trailer;1. Choice of the book2. Dramatization/Book of shooting3. Puppets/Row material/Proposition for illustration4. Part of the play with all elements: scenography, music/First production of trailer/Final version of illustration.

  7. Finals • After two times of projection of trailer older group "defends" illustration and the book trailer answering the jury's questions. After that puppetry play is on.

  8. AwardsFirst three places in categories:1. The best puppetry play2. The best puppet3. The best animation of puppet4. The best interpretation of character5. The best scenography6. The best dramatization7. The best illustration8. The best book trailer9. The best production of book trailer10. The best directed trailer

  9. LITTLE LUTVID • …is promo LUTVID programme for kids from the kindergarten. Their mentors are doing the picture book trailer an children are acting and performing. Also they are making puppets for defile on closing the Festival.

  10. About 500 puppets was in defile in lastLUTVID FEST!

  11. Library and LUTVID FEST • After every LUTVID FEST every team have to give to the library one puppet from the play for our special fund. Also the rights on a book trailer. Both puppets and a book trailers one can find in our Cobiss.net base as non book materials.
