Typical Ligands (Alkyl ligands). Bassi, JACS , 1971 , 3787. Not that many homoleptic TM alkyl complexes. [WMe 6 ] = melts 30 o C [TiMe 4 ] = decomposes -40 o C [TiBn 4 ] = stable above room temperature (see crystal structure ). More sterically hindered complexes generally more stable.
