  7. Interior Doors • Bypass doors-are hung from an overhead track and run on rollers. Lightweight • Folding doors-are found as hinged pairs. Use overhead track and rollers to open doors. Note: See Text Book for Width Sizes

  8. Hinge doors- Opens outwardly using hinges. Comes in right or left hand openings • Pocket doors- slides into a wall. Uses tracks and rollers to open.

  9. Exterior Doors • Opens outwardly using hinges. Comes in right or left hand openings. Also able to add glass, side lights and other ornamental fixtures.

  10. Double hinged doors that often times have glass in the center of the door. Common style French door • Has a one fixed panel while the second panel slides on a set of tracks.

  11. Safety • Fire- Each door is rated with a burn time. This is the rated time it takes the door to be burnt through • Security- Various styles of locks and bolts can be purchased in order to increase security.
