  3. Table of Contents • Title of Sections with the page #s

  4. Planning Process • 5 Steps • Complete Sentences • Details – GREAT • The last two steps will be completed closer to the end • Act – What did you actually do to complete the project • Evaluation – How will do you believe you did to get ready, things you would do differently

  5. Divider Pages • Name of Section

  6. Job Specification Sheet • Job title • Job description • duties • Environment • Salary (pay) • Training/education needed • Job outlook • OOH – great resource

  7. Business Communication • Job Application • May be filled out by hand or on line • Cover letter • First contact with the potential employers • Examples have been given out • Resume • Examples have been given out • 2 letters of Recommendation

Career Related Education • Summary of what you have done!! • School Activities • Extra/co- curricular activities • Community service projects • Research projects • What have you researched on your own or in school • Application of related occupational skills to the career choses • What skills do you currently possess and how they relate to your career • Technology skills – (excel, prezi) – going into the business career pathway it is essential to be knowledgeable with the latest technology. When presenting information within this pathway it is essential that I use the latest technology to enhance my presentation • Example of ability to communicate in written form • Some form of your written communication (writings from school)

Educational Enhancement Opportunities • What are you going to do in the future to enhance your opportunities to be hired by a company • Career development planning • Colleges/post-secondary plans • What are you going to do to help you get the career you want • Job shadowing • Internships • Interviews • With people within that career • Community service projects
