What Is Groundhog Job Shadow Day? • Developed by the National Job Shadow Day Coalition, a partnership that includes Junior Achievement America’s Promise U.S. Department of Education U.S. Department of Labor • Job Shadow Day started in Boston in 1996 • This year, over 1 million students and more than 100,000 businesses are expected to participate • More than 3,000 students will participate in events hosted on Cisco and Cisco Networking Academy campuses
How Does This Apply to Me? • One-third of students learned about career choices from job shadowing • Through the Networking Academy program, Job Shadow Day introduces you to careers in the IT industry
