Some Things Animals Need To Survive WATER: We could not live without water. Water helps to move food through the body. It also helps the body get rid of waste. Today, people live in houses. People take care of some animals by providing them shelter because they find it hard to provide their own food and shelter. Such animals are known as domestic animals.
