When We Worship Together, We are Led by the Great Priest, Jesus
Genesis 14:11-12 So the enemy [one group of kings] took all the possessions of Sodom and Gomorrah [another alliance], and all their provisions, and went their way. They also took Lot, the son of Abram’s [later Abraham’s] brother, who was dwelling in Sodom, and his possessions, and went their way.
Genesis 14:15-16 And [Abraham] divided his forces against them by night, he and his servants, and defeated them and pursued them to Hobah, north of Damascus. Then he brought back all the possessions, and also brought back his kinsman Lot with his possessions, and the women and the people.
Genesis 14:17-20 After [Abraham's] return from the defeat of Chedorlaomer and the kings who were with him, the king of Sodom [one of the rescued kings] went out to meet him at the Valley of Shaveh (that is, the King’s Valley). And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. (He was priest of God Most High.)
Genesis 14:17-20 (cont.) And [Melchizedek] blessed him and said, “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand!” And Abram gave him a tenth of everything.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Psalm 110:4 The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, “You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.”
Psalm 110:3 Your people will offer themselves freely on the day of your power, in holy garments; from the womb of the morning, the dew of your youth will be yours.
