Learning objectives for community coaches • Acquired skills to use coaching methodologies in their support to individuals. • Be able to organize community workshop using Open Space Technology methodologies. • Recognize, analyse and present community fragility and vulnerability. • Be able to identify and develop necessary skills for community development. • Network, learn from and work with other community coaches. Training implemented in 4-8 months. • Divided into 9 modules • 1 interview and preparation • 4 group sessions (GS) each 6-8 hours • 4 homework assignments (HW) • Final project and GS, organization of community workshop. • 30 hours of community coaching • Teaching and support material presented on INTERFACE learning platform Community coach training
My personal work-cycle i.e. what role do they perceive for themselves in their community and how can they develop and enhance it throughout the training? • Prepare a short case study of their community, demonstrating key topics of concern, available support, funding and approaches best suited to develop their community.
