  5. In text citation: Quoting • By mentioning the Roman gods, Kebric tells the story of the death of Anthony in an almost poetic narrative as he begins with “Dionysus must have indeed deserted Anthony, for the battle never took place” (119).

  6. In text citation: Paraphrasing • Although Octavian and Anthony were at war with one another, Octavian cried when he heard of Anthony’s death (Kebric 120).

  7. Is this correct? • Cleopatra was a famous Egyptian queen. • Octavian was happy when Cleopatra died because “his problems with Antony and Cleopatra could be buried far from Rome in the sands of Egypt”. • Octavian knew he could not kill Cleopatra. When he finally heard that she had killed herself, he was happy that he did not have to worry about them and that his problem was over.
