  2. Date of birth and birth place • Jacqueline was born in New York City , NY on may 7th 1952.

  3. The start of her studies • Barton first got interested in DNA while she was in graduate school. She spent her time studying electrical conductivity of DNA. She was the first to try this strange property , no body knows if this helps DNA carry out genetic information. Barton hopes to answer this one day.
