  2. 5 facts • Meat from marine mammals, game, birds and fish has been the main ingredient in Greenlandic food for generations. • The high meat content in the diet provided energy and nourishment all year round for a physically demanding. • They get their meat from reindeer, musk oxen and ptarmigan delivered and the fish we use is mainly salmon cod redfish and wolf fish. • Food made from Greenlandic ingredients is always a culinary experience and the ingredients are often organic. • Not many Greenland halibut are caught here, but there is lumpfish roe and plenty of snow-crabs. Lamb is shipped up from South Greenland. 

  3. 5 more facts • The Greenlandic culinary culture is also closely tied to the old hunting community's strong social solidarity. • Food made from Greenlandic ingredients is always a culinary experience and the ingredients are often organic since fish game. • Blueberries crowberries and Greenlandic angelica are preserved and there are also wild mushrooms. • We get meat from reindeer, musk oxen and ptarmigan delivered and the fish we use is mainly salmon, cod, redfish and wolf fish. • They cut up carve and filet both fish and meat. We cut our own T-bone steaks from the musk ox

  4. Reflection • Greenland has some really cool food I think their way of getting food and their ways cooking.I think its really cool the way they get there own T-bone steak from ox's.
