Current Status Automatic harvesting from other registries (does not replace them) READ – EPA systems Exchange Network Discovery Service (ENDS) – Nodes and EN services Environmental Dataset Gateway (EDG) – datasets Quality review workflow in place Exchange Network grants include RCS registration and re-use requirements Working to make registration and re-use standard part of agency contracts

Value Added/Benefits • Single point access to EPA, State, Tribal Resources • Exchange Network nodes and services from ENDS • Software tools from the EITLC • Data Exchanges and XML schema from the Exchange Network • CDX resources • Public data sets • Other EPA resources (systems, web services, widgets, mobile apps, etc.) • Leveraging of resources with owner authorization • Possible collaboration to develop applications and tools • Re-use for application development with cost savings, faster delivery and improved quality • Possible support for Exchange Network website

Coming Soon RCS Widget 2.0 Filter will enable programs to pull only one or more types of assets or assets that belong to a single program office Access to non-public assets for authorized users using new interface Support for agency and partnerweb pages for easier maintenance, using web services More asset types – business services, data dictionaries from DERS, commercial tools and others. More quality checks (link checking, assets not updated, etc.) Single sign-on
