  2. IR2 is designed to make the interview process easier to record, facilitate, annotate, and export. Utilizing patented technology, and a wide array of design input, IR2 has an unparalleled feature set that is easy to use, and extremely powerful.

  3. Features: Simple to use installation and user interface. Designed with input from multiple Law Enforcement Jurisdictions. Case information can be entered pre, post, or live Recording sessions can be controlled from a Smartphone or tablet. Utilizes industry standard PC hardware and camera types. Utilizes Industry standard file formats and exports. Audio recordings are at DVD quality or better. Video recordings are at SD, HD, 4K or higher resolutions. Notes can be free formed typed and automatically text wrap. Up to 4 cameras can be recorded in each room. Simple export utility (One Click Burn). Includes playback utility with redaction capability. Transcription panel interface included. Mature product can be customized for specific needs.

  4. “Jump to” access for easy playback operations Unique time stamp point of interest, allows for instant access to a specific point in the interview. Video, Audio and Notes re-sync instantly.

  5. ‘One Click Burn’ for ease of export. Export an entire case file: Audio, Video and Text. A playback utility is included each time a CD / DVD is burned.

  8. Simple Layout Example Covert or overt cameras are connected to the system via networking cable and a POE switch. A standard PC acts as the primary recorder for each room. PC specifications are available by room design. Microphones are installed and directly connected to the PC audio input.

  9. No proprietary hardware required The interview room recorder is designed to work with standard PC equipment. Analog or IP cameras can be used depending on design needs. Discreet microphone input allows for the best audio quality to be recorded.

  10. Export cases in multiple formats Cases can be exported to standard AVI for playback on most any PC, Mac IPhone or other portable device. Cases can also be exported in a format that retains the ability to be used as evidence.

  11. Customization / User requested features Features are constantly being added to the IR2 platform. Many features are added for mainstream use, while others are specific to the user’s design specification. Either way, JDS is capable and willing to evolve the product to meet any user’s needs. Most features can be added at no cost to the user.

  12. On Site Demo It is certain that a ‘canned demo’ may not accurately represent what a product can do for a user. This is why JDS offers a complete turn key solution for production use for a finite evaluation period. Cases can be recorded and used in court as evidence during this evaluation period.
