Introduction • TWRA (2003) tested for D.O. and its effect on aquatic species. • D.O. was not at the levels it needed to be regardless of methods that were in place.
To determine the dissolved oxygen count of Center Hill Lake/ Caney Fork River before, during, and after generation That the dam will not have enough D.O. to support aquatic life. Objective and Hypothesis
Methods and Materials • “Standard Methods” 4500-0 Dissolved Oxygen Content Method • Bench HI 2400D.O. Meter • Surveying potential sites for sampling to take place • A Dell Dimension 3000 to compile data using Excel
Results • The D.O. below the dam was low, but as it flowed away became enriched with oxygen again.
