With, easy government regulations, a lot of people around the world are thinking about being a permanent resident of Singapore. As one of the global leaders of business, definitely the best in Asia, who wouldn’t want to be a citizen of this fine nation? But, to become a permanent resident, you must go through medical checkups. There are a few other rules though, which must be maintained,

If you are the spouse of a Singapore citizen, you are eligible to apply to become a permanent resident. • Aged parent of a Singapore citizen will also be eligible. • If you have an employment pass. • If you want to invest in Singapore. • The PR applicants have to pass in all the medical checkups. Now, you canfind a PR medical checkup clinic anywhere in Singapore.

  4. These medical checkups will include, Registration Before getting a medical checkup, you have to make a registration. First, you have to submit your passport with the In-principle approval form and your past medical form. After making the payment, the applicant will be asked to wait until the registration process completes. After completing the registration process, the clinic staff will return your passport with the In-principle approval form. Then the process of the medical checkup will begin by talking about the applicant’s measurements. Measurements Here, the nurse will examine the applicant’s necessary medical requirements. After that, either the doctor or the nurse under the supervision of the doctor will run the medical tests. The sign of the applicant will be taken on the PR application form after conducting the tests. If the applicant is a female and pregnant, the X-ray examination will be conducted after the delivery. The doctor will always be there to make sure every checkup is going fine top avoid any flawed results.

As usual, taking an X-ray image is a matter of a few minutes and after that, you be directed to the blood station, which is also the last test of the process. Blood test In the final stage, the applicant has to go through a blood test, which is an HIV test. This will be like going for a normal HIV screening process where blood will be taken from your body. If you have weak blood flow, it might take a bit longer than usual. After everything is done, the applicant will be given a date to collect his/her test results.   6. Medical Examination for Overseas Workers If your company is hiring foreign workers than you have to send all of them for the work permit medical checkupwithin 2 weeks of their arrival. The process will be the same as a PR applicant. They have to show up with the medical examination form for foreign workers. If the worker is fit from tuberculosis, HIV, syphilis, and malaria, they can stay and work, otherwise they will be sent back to their country.
