ISBIR – SEP (Student Exchange Program) • SEP, which was recently formed in the ISBIR (IEEE Student Branches Industry Relations) Program, is a new initiative aiming at providing a new platform for students to develop their careers on an international level. Moreover, it is a great opportunity for companies to reach qualified human resources of the young IEEE network. • The basic idea of SEP is to find internship positions in well-known companies and match these positions with highly motivated and qualified student members of the IEEE all over the world. The main intention is to create a benefit for the participating companies as well as the students by fulfilling the needs of both sides. • Section officers just need to provide the following information in order to benefit from this program: • List of Companies: Sections should come up with a list of a few companies which are likely to be willing to allocate internship positions for international students: • Company 1: Company 2: • Company 3: Company 4: • Promotion of SEP among SBs: The section officers are required to announce the program and promote the advantages to SBs to make them get involved. • Local Student Contact: The section officers are required to offer a student contact from their section who will be communicating with students: ____________________________________________________________________
